Condo B13 - Ocean View

We stayed in b13 as a part of a group who stayed in b12. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay... perfect accommodation for our family, very welcoming staff, looked after all our needs.
The location is ideal for visiting Maui’s hot spots...would definitely stay there again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is immaculate and the unit itself was clean and well stocked. Connie, the property manager, was awesome to work with when we needed a bit of help. The morning patio and beach were an awesome perk.

Our family has stayed there for 4 days, the rooms are clean the views are pretty, you could see a slice of beach and sea as photos given. It is walking to beach distance. There are some swimming boards for kids too. The washer and dryer is in a public area and the parking lot is tight for people from the south:-). Overall all these are manageable. We had a great time there.

We previously stayed Ka'anapali for many years. Suffice it to say we are beyond thrilled to have found the South side of the island to be so much better. Sun every day, trade winds in the afternoon, mere steps from the pool to the ocean - the best of both worlds! We loved the central location and saw much more of the island than ever before - Kihei Sands is a great jumping-off spot for planning adventures. The condo was clean and comfortable and the gardens in the breezeway were gorgeous - they should charge admission to walk through! Staff was always available for recommendations on what to see and do. We will definitely be back!

We had 3 families (10 of us) in 3 condo's at the Kihei Sands Beachfront Condos, and we really enjoyed it. It was awesome to be right by the beach, to be able to walk on the beach every day, enjoy the beach every evening, and to chat with other renters (who have been here often before). The units and complex were quiet and convenient to drive to and from.

Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant. The condo had very comfortable beds, but the rest of the unit definitely felt like a rental property. The fan in the kitchen is dirty and there was paint peeling by the lanai slider in the unit. I questioned the pool cleanliness, but it was getting a lot of use by kids. It would have been nice to see the ocean from the lawn chairs but the hedge is overgrown and weedy. Aside from that, we enjoyed the quiet accommodations and complimentary morning coffee and tea on the patio.

All units are indivudual owned, therefore no 2 are alike. We have stayed in both the 1 and 2 bedroom units, if something is missing a quick chat with either of the Managers and it is promptly dealt with. Unit B13 is a nice 2 bedroom unit and is well equipped. What we enjoy mostly is the social aspect on the Lanai in the morning and at dinner time.

My family stayed at a Kihei Sands Beachfront condo for a week and we had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with a comfortable, clean, space and a basket of welcome gifts. The the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We were three and made use of the sofa bed which was perfect for our group. The beach is just a few steps away. The location is great with easy access to Kihei and the roads leading to the other parts of the island. The place was peaceful and quiet. We were glad to be able to borrow some boogie boards and chairs available.

We always enjoy coming to Kihei Sands, it is in a great location right on Sugar beach and the property is small and cozy. Good central location to everything on Maui and the price is reasonable for what you get. If you’re looking for a nice, low key, quiet spot right on the beach you’ll love it here.

This unit is one of the more updated units in the complex. The kitchen was very nice and more roomy than others. Also the bathrooms have been updated very well. The sectional in the living room was comfortable and offered good tv viewing. Overall you can tell the owners have a lot of pride in ownership for themselves and their guests.
The management staff, Patrick and Connie, are very helpful and go out their way to make sure any issues or questions are dealt with in a timely manner.
The units have all the usual beach amenities available to enjoy the beach, sand, ocean, and pool.
The only negative was during our stay it was quite windy in most of the afternoons which limited most local activities and beach time to the am.

We had a great time at Kihei Sands Resort. The condo itself was supplied with all the essentials. Loved that the beach was so close. A short walk down the beach to a wonderful bakery and farmers market. The property managers were very accommodating. The parking lot is pretty tight - I practiced my backing up skills. This was our first time here. It was awesome! The place was clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed everything about our stay- being right by the ocean, the pool, and having grills available to cook dinner. We’ve already recommended it to some friends and will stay here again!

Beautiful place, incredible views, well kept. Take advantage of the coffee to sit on the patio and meet your neighbors. Close to everything (I guess it is an island); walking distance to farmers market, shave ice, ABC.

Our family stayed here and loved it! The AC worked very well, there were so many amenities we were able to enjoy including the grill, pool toys, lay our benches, sunscreen(!), and more! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming and the beach was amazing just steps away. Kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook many meals at home. Ample parking was always available and the location has easy, fast access for anywhere on the island! We can't wait to come back again.

Loved the location, not traffic and close to everywhere we went! Inside the unit was clean and comfortable. The outside areas were clean but a bit dated and worn. You are right on the beach! Management and tenants were friendly and helpful. We will plan to return!

A perfect spot for beach, sun and a relaxing atmosphere. Sunsets watch from the patio, whales breaching in the distance and gentle waves rolling in. Step out from the pool and patio right onto the beach for fun in the emerald ocean or a quite walk to enjoy the beauty of it all.the Easily accessible from the major roads but no road noise.Shopping and convenience stores just a few minutes away. Any special needs or maintenance issues were always taken care immediately from a caring staff that were helpful in every way. This facility may be small compared to the big hotels but I would recommend it to anyone. Our room was clean, comfy and well appointed with lots of space and an ocean view from our Balcony. There is equipment to use for water sports at your disposal and a shower right by the beach keep the sand where it belongs. Laundry on site for your personal needs and every room gets a parking spot. We would definitely come here again!

Our family had a great time at Kihei sands. The beach was so quiet and so much less crowded than being in South Kihei. It was great to just wake up every day and take the kids right to the sand. The lounge chairs were great, all the sand toys and boogie boards were available for the kids to use. We loved walking to the ABC store and Shave ice. The condo was perfectly clean, nothing huge or fancy but suited all of our needs. The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed s s’mores night. They aren’t exaggerating about the parking lot being tight though. If you can get away with a compact car, do it. Our suburban was incredibly difficult to park each time we left the lot. Great family memories made our week here!

We travelled with 4 adults and 1 child and we enjoyed our stay very much, however the pictures made it look so much bigger than it actually was. The location was fantastic right on sugar beach. The location was a little far from the strip in Kihei but it was a short drive there. We would definitely stay there again because the unit was very clean and quiet.

This condo has everything you could think of! Clean, up-to-date, fully equipped kitchen - no detail overlooked! The view from the balcony is amazing - can hear and see the surf from the dining room. The complex is small and quiet and located right on the beach. We had an awesome vacation!

We stayed in this condo on Sugar Beach, it was very roomy and beds were very comfortable. I was impressed with how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The kitchen was open to the dining room and living area so we could all visits. I loved that you could see the ocean from out lanai as well. The beach was steps from our door and very private. I will highly recommend this place if your looking to be centrally located. Be sure and check out the shaved Ice and market just up the street from Kihei Sands.

What a fantastic stay in Maui at Kihei Sands. We found it nice and central with travelling distances to Wailea, Lahaina or Kahului all quite convenient from Kihei Sands. The pool and beach were amazing - the latter only a few short steps from the condos.

Condo B13 was amazing and we were very impressed with plenty of room for all the family. On arrival we received some nice welcoming gifts and were ecstatic with the modern decor of the condo. Everything was well presented in the condo, with a guests book and some beautiful ornaments.

Whilst the rooms and facilities were fantastic it was the small touches that made this such a fantastic family friendly facility. Whether it be smores with the kids in the evening, having a chat with our neighbours while cooking on the BBQ - every moment was great.

I highly recommend Kihei Sands and B13 for any future visits to Maui and look forward to my next stay in Maui at Kihei Sands.

This condo is the perfect size, on a perfect beach, in a perfect location. I really couldn't have asked for much more. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights at the Kihei Sands. We had every comfort of home - cooler, beach towels, umbrellas, everything needed for cooking and cleaning. The air conditioning was a priority for us -- it was superb.What a special treat to have coffee in the morning and the Monday night potluck. Thanks Mike and Sue. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

If you want alternative to the big resort strips on Maui's west coast, this is it. Great for families with younger kids. Right on the beach, get up for that morning walk on the beach or have breakfast on the patio. Centrally located on the island, handy for everything, 10 minute drive to the whale watching/snorkelling outfits, and a 10 min walk to the official best shaved ice stand on Maui! On Sugar Beach the surf was always calm enough for young kids, even when the surf was up on other more popular beaches. You can watch whales from the Patio between Jan and April as well from the patio. We stayed in Suite B13, well equipped. The king bed was heavenly, where did you get the pillows?! The resort was very clean with friendly management staff on site everyday.

Cheri and Jonathan were lovely and very accommodating. The 2bdrm/2bthrm condo was exactly what we needed for 2 friends traveling with our 2 kids (5 and 7 yo). Everything we needed was there and the location couldn't be beat. Jonathan was great with advice about Maui, and Cheri made fantastic mac nut toffee for us as a departing gift. Would definitely return.

This is a great place to stay on Maui. Condo was small but very functional with direct access to the beach. The management is top notch. Beach was huge with strong breaking waves causing water to not be clear. Pool and sitting area great for sunrise and sunset. Very family friendly. Good location for accessing day trip venues.

It's always a little scary making a commitment that means so very much to the success of a vacation trip online--no matter how many reviews you read or how many stars someone has given the vacation rental site. This one was right on--in every category!

This was one of the best vacations I have had in a long time. The condo is as pictured; clean, close to the beach and close to everything. We arrived on a Friday night after long delays at the airport and found the keys safely kept for us so we could access the condo.
The condo has all the amenities you need to prepare your own food to save some money. Also the 2 bathrooms were awesome.
Lastly Jonothan and Cheri our hosts were AWESOME!! I cant thank them enough. From providing directions, advice and hosting the marshmallow party. I cant forget that on the day we were leaving our flight was delayed and they provided us with a room to hang out before we had to go to the airport after our check out time. They are good people and out condo was home away from home.

Being so close to the beach was terrific. Loved the sound of the ocean. I know you can't control the weather but B13 unit could use more lighting for rainy days and while the bathrooms were clean, could use updating. The kitchen was well equipped (nice selection of knives) and was happy overall with the unit and the complex which was well maintained.

Furniture was nice, pictures outdated. All in all, not a bad suite, but they need to do a serious walk-through and look at what they can do to make it more appealing. Honestly wouldn't take much.
