The beachfront location was stunning, but what really stood out was how spotless everything was. The common areas, the rooms, and even the pool area were immaculate, making our stay feel comfortable and refreshing. We have been coming back to Kihei Sands each year for many many years. This year our month long stay was perfect! We enjoy walking on the beach everyday, sunbathing, whale watching, swimming in the ocean and the pool, barbecuing watching the sunset every night while mingling with new guests and hanging out with several couples that come every year! Our hosts Connie, Patrick and Sarah did an awesome job communicating via email all the details of our reservations before we got there and accommodating all of the little things that we needed. They truly work hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. Our room was very clean as usual along with the area around the pool area and all the grounds were immaculate. We have already made our reservations for next year! Thank you Kihei Sands staff for another wonderful stay!

Bob and I truly enjoyed our stay in Condo A7 at Kihei Sands!

We liked the fact that Condo A7 is located on the ground floor and so close to the ocean! It made it easy to run back and forth to the condo to retrieve the binoculars for whale-watching or anything else we needed!

The condo was very clean and decorated in a pretty Hawaiian theme! We appreciated that the beach towels, beach chairs and other beach accessories were all provided.

The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. One minor complaint was that there were so many non-microwaveable plates. The writing on the back of the plates was so small and faint that it was hard to tell if one could use them in a microwave. Especially when one is on vacation, it would be helpful to be able to grab any plate and be assured he/she could use it in a microwave oven.

The outside patio area was kept very clean! We loved sitting on the chairs on the patio, drinking a cup of coffee ☕️ (or a glass of wine at night) and watching the sun rise and set!

The staff were all very kind and helpful!

The coin-operated laundry facilities were very clean as well. The hours of operation were from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to allow house-keeping the time to wash the towels and sheets in the morning. We would have liked the washers and driers to be available more hours each day. However, when I did ask for an exception one day, the office staff kindly opened the facilities for me.

My husband and I truly loved our vacation in A7 at Kihei Sand and would love to stay there again! ️ ☀️

This condo was exactly what we needed for our stay on Maui - and more! The location was perfect, just 20 minutes from the airport, even closer to the restaurants in Kihei and Wailea, and still gave the laid back feel that you are away from the "bustle" of it all. The quiet ocean views were the perfect way to start and end each day. Check in/out was a breeze and the condo was well stocked with all the comforts of home! This was a great little corner of South/Central Maui that made exploring much of the island a breeze. Thank You Kihei Sands for a wonderful stay!!

We were kept updated on the timelines for payments, arrival, and expectations. I received answers in a timely manner. We enjoyed meeting some other guests in the front community area while we ate breakfast or dinner or just enjoying the outdoors. It was very close to the beach and about a quarter mile walk from a farmer’s market, bakery and general ABC store. The condo was well maintained and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and appliances. The manager and office staff were friendly. Yes, I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. The swimming pool was great for kids as well as adults.

We had a great time at this condo, #A7. The location was central and ideal for all the sights we wanted to see in Maui. The check-in was seamless as we were sent the code to the door a week in advance. the unit was in excellent condition and on the first floor. Very quiet, nice patio to enjoy the ocean view and nice small porch outside our unit. Communications with the property manager was outstanding. The king bed was comfy.

The property was beautiful, better than advertised! We were fortunate to be there when many of the owners were there and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Melvin for the wonderful map and snorkeling location tips!! The condo was well stocked and Costco and the gas grills made it easy to prepare meals. The location was perfect with a great beach for walking, swimming and relaxing on the patio. Since the condo was close to everything, we took daily trips exploring the island and we were convinced this was the best location for us! We were pleased that beach towels were provided and were lucky to find beach chairs, boogie boards and pool noodles in the complex shared leftover bin. We had a fun filled week with the Road to Hanna, hiking both the rain forest and crater in Haleakala National Park, and snorkeling several beaches with our favorite being North Ka'anapali Beach. I'd like to say this place was terrible so the next time we go it won't be booked, but this really was an amazing condo and location. The office staff was helpful and made themselves available, the condo was clean and air conditioned. This condo is literally steps away from the beach and its a long continuous beach that is perfect for evening walks. The condo is close to the famous Hawaiian ice store too.

Our only concern is with unit A7, is that it needs a more thorough cleaning. Examples would be....the front door area needs to be repainted, it looks grimy. The wainscotting in the unit needs to be washed, lots of dust on the top of it. In fact, I cleaned part of it near the headboard in the bedroom. The owner should know that the bathroom sink (bowl) is too big for the counter, no where to put things.

We came for a week and stayed a few more days, we really liked:
1.Location - our own beach and pool area!
2. The apartment - it was filled with all the tools that you need in order to feel home, feel that you need to buy just groceries and no furthermore.
3. Parking
4. We used all the amenities that this place has: laundry, Bbq and many more...really great!

We absolutely loved this condo! It was the perfect size for two people. The decoration were pretty great, inviting and nice colors. The extras like ice bag, box of chocolate and bottle water was a nice to enjoy. Great location! It was nice to be able to walk straight out the sliding door to the pool and beach. Loved the pool and lawn chairs. The area was neat and well kept. Complementary coffee every morning near the pool was a nice. Pool and beach were so nice to enjoy using. Kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Wash machine was were right across and so convenient. Wagon was great to use for luggage.

Here are a few things that we would like changed. Check-out time is 10am. That is way to early. Even if it was 11am like other VRBO would be better than 10am. We were left with 6 hrs to burn until we went to airport. The outside table/chairs were great but not comfortable. Maybe add cushions. Bed pillows were too soft and not much filler. My hubby was hoping for a tv in the bedroom since the couch is not comfortable for two people to lay on especially someone that is 6ft.

We definitely would recommend staying here and all our family/friends members. We are planning on renting it again and again.

Very friendly staff and coffee starting at 6 a.m. Easy to get things fixed and help with getting TV working. Friendly place and makes it comfortable to meet fellow visitors on the deck while cooking, reading in the shade, etc. I would love to go again. We had all the kitchen needs and cooking utensils.

Overall we enjoyed our time here emencly. Quiet location and great beach walks. My only two complaints would be 1 pool was not heated 2 the people above us walked very loudly for most of our stay. Next time I would get an upstairs unit.

The unit and location were perfect. We were able to put our little one down for a nap and sit on the patio or at the pool. They are currently between management companies apparently so there was no "smores nights" as listed on the website, but we still had a great time. Every unit our group rented was a little different in regards to the things provided. Ours was pretty minimal. One of the units had coolers, beach chairs etc. Guess it's up to the owners on what they want to provide. But all in all would definitely recommend!

The stay was great, as usual. 2 Minor problems.
1) TV Was on zoom the whole time and only got half the picture. Could not change with 1 remote we had.
2) No sharp knives any where in the condo. We had to purchase one.

We felt very much at home in our well appointed unit. It was nicely furnished and had all the supplies needed for our 15 night stay. Our only suggestion would be not to advertise this unit as "Superior Ocean View". The view was minimal and best to view on the patio through wrought iron fence and shrubs toward the beach. The only units with a great view are the 4 units at the ocean end of the complex. Two on ground floor and 2 up.
The management was responsive to our questions and needs and the communication prior to our stay was excellent. They were very well
organized. Every night the complex was quiet for great sleeping and we thought this property was in a perfect location for proximity to all the tourist attractions we enjoyed. This waterfront property had a gorgeous beach that was the same beach as much larger neighboring complexes also used. We liked the fact there were not so many people in our smaller complex but we had many of the same amenities as the bigger places. Our family would definitely stay here again and are repeat guests of Kihei Sands.

loved loved loved our 18 nights at Kihei Sands. comfy condo, lovely swimming and walking beach, friendly people, morning coffee watching whales on the patio every morning and very good location with a Hawaiian feel. Everything you need or want is in Kihei.

Great spot. We're reluctant to provide too glowing a review as we may not be able to get back in again!

We have been to Maui four times and stayed in Kihei and Kaanapali VRBOs. This was probably our best rental both in terms of value and location. All of the units in Kihei Sands are right next to the beach. You can literally walk from the beach to your unit in less than a minute. We stayed in two units. Both units were recently renovated and the kitchens were very well stocked. Kihei Sands has two good outdoor grills for shared use and they can be busy at times. Probably the only minor complaint is the small pool. However, it is more than adequate for cooling off or for kids to enjoy. We definitely plan to rent here again.

We love that Kehei Sands is a smaller complex; that it is kept very clean; that it is right on a beach that we can walk for miles; that we can swim in the ocean right there; and that it is close to everything we like to do. Superbly located, very clean and stellar customer service from the Resident Managers, I would highly recommend Kihei Sands. The attention to detail and quick response to any query was amazing; the extra little touches they focus on made our stay most memorable- thank you!!

Before I even arrived Cheri, one of the management team made me feel welcome and was extreamly helpful with my almost last minute booking. Once there it was all I would have hoped for. Condos are well equipped, clean and comfortable, all have excellent views. We attended the annual Thanksgiving Pot Luck on the patio by the beach which was great fun, again Cheri and Jonathon, the managers worked hard to make sure we all felt welcome. Coffee is hot and available on the patio each morning in time to watch the sunrise. Cheri and Jonathon have pretty much thought of everything and anything a guest could ever want or need in a vacation on the beach.

This was our 3rd time at Kihei Sands and we can't say enough good things about our condo. The condo was clean, had a comfortable bed and the kitchen was well equipped Love the ocean front access especially in the morning. The condo supplies freshly made coffee every morning on the patio. We enjoyed having a cup of coffee and watching the Outriggers. Loved our morning walks on the beach and BBQ's in the evening. Jonathan and Cherie were more than welcoming. Looking forward to a return trip.

My husband and I booked this accommodation for 2 nights, to fill out a 7 day visit to Maui, having booked the first 5 nights in a resort. We decided that Kihei Sands is "a find": just the right size, well located, good quality accommodation, very well maintained property, and a lovely beach. What is there not to like?? We've already booked for a week next year!

Loved the location. Remote enough to be private, but close enough to the amenities. Caretakers and manager very friendly and helpful. The condo needed a little maintenance and updating, one window wouldn't lock and screen on patio door was torn. Otherwise, it was adequate. Loved the whole Maui experience!

We loved our stay at Kihei Sands. Right on the beach. Awesome. Sands is small, quaint, manageable. Quiet, away from crowds. Management team was very nice and accommodating. The units are simple and much like you would expect in a coastal condo in FL. Units are a little dated, with some upgrades and perhaps the showers could have been cleaned a little better. Overall, we had a great experience and absolutely would go back. Very congenial, relaxing, great location, and great value for Maui.

Love hearing the sounds of the waves. The grounds were great, tropical landscaping. Love oceanfront patio with BBQs for that special evening dinner and great sunsets. Love the Hawaiian decor in this unit.

Stalls are smaller than average and if you have a rental car, it's a concern. Some drivers do not park within their allotted space. Wifi: Luckily our unit had a wifi but none on the patio.
