Condo B10 - Superior Ocean View

The condo, location, staff, facilities, were all wonderful.
Location on the beach was great, and away from city bustle. A bit windy, with blowing sand, but expected for that area and season. Sea was not clear so if desire to snorkel, there are places further south.
Hard-working staff was great, keeping place in order and functioning. Cleaning staff does a great job to keep unit ready for next visitors.
Beautiful plants onsite.
My kids enjoyed the beach and the pool. BBQs on site were great amenity.
Prices were reasonable. I will likely return.
Thank you Staff for friendliness, acommodating us, andyour hard working efforts to keep this facility a well-oiled machine.

Our family had the best stay- it's the perfect location to make home base while adventuring around the island! We'd get up early with our five and seven year old- drive and do adventures, and be back for an afternoon of playing in the pool and ocean right outside the Kihei Sands. The condo was everything a family could need plus a GORGEOUS porch view.

Our rental experience was excellent. It is a nice quiet location. The condo was perfect and so clean. The downstairs shower was not functioning but not a real problem with upstairs functioning fine.

Our condo was well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards. We enjoyed the community grill and smore night provided by the host. I would have rated this five stars but the view wasn't as pretty as some of the other areas we visited on the island. The afternoon winds due to being in between two mountains was high! So we couldn't enjoy the beach in the afternoons (only mornings and evenings). Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would rent this condo again.

Nice complex with very helpful management. Patrick helped us a lot as we could not figure out the lighting, internet or first floor shower. It would be helpful to have small signs explaining how these things work. Otherwise everything was very nice!

We spent 2 days at Kihei sands as a larger group, we reserved 2 units side by side. The units were clean, the people were friendly, and the location was to die for. The beach is steps away. I would highly encourage booking to stay here.

Absolutely no complaints about this rental! The location is unbeatable; literally steps from the beach, which made it so easy to get things with beach trips for our two young kids. The property was well kept, and the office staff was very friendly. Location was very central to everything we wanted to get to on Maui. Would stay here again!

We are recently married, and our four adult children live all over the globe. We decided to unite everyone on Maui where my son resides. Kihei Sands was the ideal location. Right on the beach with intimate surroundings. We enjoyed getting to meet fellow travelers, and barbecuing in the common area. Morning beach walks/runs and swims in the ocean were our routine. The entire complex was very clean and our apartment had updated furnishings. The location was ideal for all of the attractions we desired on the island. We were delighted in every way, and will definitely be back!

We stayed at Kihei Sands with my family. We had four condos in total. It was the perfect place to for us! We shared meals and family time on the lanai, on the beach and in the pool; but had our own condos to retreat to when anyone needed some quiet.

The condo is very comfortable and in a great location! There was construction going on during our stay, which was a little inconvenient at times when we went back and tried to take a nap, however the location itself is worth it. Kihei was our favorite town! The beach is very beautiful and private, which we loved. We had only one interaction with management when we thought our shower wasn't working. Turns out we just weren't doing it right and the lady who turned it on for us seemed a little unfriendly and very annoyed, which we honestly felt really bad and stupid enough so it was odd since we were friendly and apologized to her, but I guess she just thought we were dumb or something lol. But anyways that didn't ruin our stay we would defiantly love to come back oneday!

To Condo's location cannot be beat. With the family atmosphere of the guests, and being literally right on Sugar Beach it is an excellent choice for families, and those not wanting to cross a roadway to get to the beach. Sugar beach is extraordinary with nice snorkeling right there! Since the condo's are individually owned, they do vary in style and maintenance from condo to condo. Our condo B8 is the most expensive one, and is in need of some maintenance and some upgrading. I think the price of B8 should be reduced a bit until issues are dealt with (fraying carpets, dirty corners and door sills, noisy and scary ceiling fan in upstairs room so much so it cannot be used). The cleaning company needs to put some more effort into the condo's when one guest leaves and another is coming. These are repairable issues and should be taken care of by the owner ASAP. Minor complaints in the grand scope of things. Great location for anything that you want to do. Have been to this Condo about 6 times now.

Our stay in B10 was very good. The condo is smaller than what I thought It would be but was big enough for me my mom and 4 grown kids. Everything was in good condition. The kitchen is small but workable. We cooked 4 dinners during the 7 nights we spent there. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are nice. Shower heads were high enough for us as we are all 5’10” and over. The patio is awesome with supreme views of the beach and the sound of the waves. The only down side is the sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. You can feel the springs poking thru so we had to invest in a air mattress from Walmart. And my kids all woke up with bug bites from something that came out at night. All in all it was a great trip and we would stay again!!!

It was good! The unit was want we needed...everything was in order and we were generally happy. We did hear some construction going on in the unit next door, but they kept it to 10-4 generally and it wasn't too much of a hiderance.

We felt so welcomed and well cared for during our family visit to Kihei Sands. The staff, residents, and other guests were all super friendly. The beach is wonderful, and it's an easy walk to a great farmer's market. You do need a car to get to groceries and restaurants.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was great, the condo was in good condition and furnished, etc. well. The beach is a great walking beach and one for watching the sunset, not so great for snorkeling, body surfing, etc. We were a bit disappointed in the size of our place and especially the lanai wide-angle lenses can be deceiving.
A huge part of a Kihei Sands experience is the patio scene. People who are in for a sociable experience will enjoy this part most.

We love going to Kihei Sands. This was our second visit and will return again for sure. Lovely condos right on the beach. We have met so many great people there, nice sense of community. We love the beach and you can walk for miles, very uncrowded. There is a nice patio for sitting out and barbecues available. Great mix of age groups and something for everyone. Far prefer this to the big resorts.

Wasn't really sure what to expect but was hoping for a great place. This place didn't disappoint. The room we were in (B10) carpet was a bit stained but well stocked and nice amenities. The patio was awesome and the building managers held more and potluck nights for guests which was cool. Hard to beat the location, centralized for everything in Kihei or Maelea. Short drive to Lahina, Kahului (20 minutes). Although the rooms facing the ocean would be nice for the view, I think they would be very hot and quite noisy with the ocean waves. Being inset one room, the waves at night were loud enough. The AC worked well and each room had their own AC module.

Having stayed at this location numerous times I can say it just keeps improving. The grounds have never been nicer, the people friendly as ever. Just hate to leave and go back to reality.

This room was well equipped. It overall does need a remodel. Especially the washrooms.

Myself, my husband and my one-year old son stayed at this location. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and it was definitely a beach front location. Jonathan and Cheri were amazing to work with and it was great seeing them around every day. They were welcoming and we will be staying here again!

Loved being in Kihei. The only downside of B10 unit was that the upper second bedroom is a loft so not a lot of privacy. Other than that, great everything and recommend the place.

Two senior couples...first time in Hawaii. Our experience could not have been better. The friendly reception and family/friends feel was just what we needed. The condo itself was great having everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location on Sugar Beach with great white sandy shoreline and opportunity to walk either left or right for literally miles was just what I dreamed of. The opportunity to spot and observe whales right from our balcony....priceless! We can not say enough praise for the managers Jonathan and Cheri. First class. From the weekly evening smores the weekly potluck dinners on the patio, all arranged by this caring couple...only to be topped by Cheri's awesome homemade cornbread (I still want the the parting gift of homemade toffee...we'd love to come back just as many others do year after year. We understand why.

A nice, cormfatable 30 unit complex, that sits on the edge of Sugar Beach. As a two bedroom, it is small, but great for a couple, a family, or very good friends.

They have a nice pool with lots of chairs to sit at along with tables and umbrellas on the grass area, all beach front and just a few steps to the sand. Very easy access to sugar beach and great flat walking for miles... We will be back, on our next trip to Maui for sure..

Condo was very clean inside and out. Very nice staff at this condo. This condo is centrally located which made it very easy getting around the island.

We had a wonderful time in Condo B10. We had everything we needed and more. Jonathan and Cheri were very helpful and her cinnamon buns were the best we've ever had. Sorry Mom!

Being so centrally located was great as we were close to wherever we were going. Only a few steps to the beach we started and ended most days there with day trips in the middle.

This was a great condo in a great location! The patio and private beach area were fantastic and had beautiful views. The managers on site were very friendly and hosted evening socials on the property. Our favorite was the night with the fire pit and making smores while chatting with other guests. If given the chance to return to Maui, we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Kihei Sands because it wasn't a huge overcrowed place. We found the condo to be very clean along with the rest of the property. The patio area and the pool were clean as well. We really enjoyed how close the ocean was to the complex, which made it easy to take our things down there for the day. During our stay, they encountered a flood on the lower level of the property, even though it did not affect our condo, we felt the staff handled this disaster terrifically. They handled things professionally and in a timely matter. We found the staff to be very friendly, and very accommodating. We would and will recommend Kihei Sands to everyone! And we are looking forward to our next trip back.

We were very happy with this property. It was a smaller building so very quiet and relaxing . Everything you need including beach equip to use ( boogie boards , sand toys, beach chairs and cooler all came in really handy) was very clean, in good repair and management was top notch! My kids loved the pool and the beach was a stones throw from the gorgeous flagstone patio. We used the BBQ , laundry facilities and both were terrific. The view from our lanai was breathtaking and we saw whales breaching right from the beach. Beach was lovely but helped to have water shoes if going into the water. Surf was always calm enough for my kids to swim safely . Our unit well appointed although somewhat dated.. Did not detract from my enjoyment. Cannot wait to come again!!!
