Condo A11 - Superior Ocean View

This piece of property is stunning in every way. Mere steps to a secluded sandy beach and ocean swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling, etc. Close jaunt to/from the airport and local shopping and restaurants. Owners and guests mingle over coffee in the morning and in the swimming pool in the afternoon. Condo is fully furnished and on-site staff is always available!

People are very friendly and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Great for people not wanting to stay a a big resort and not so many people. Our vacation rental was a 1 bed/ 1 bath with a pullout. It was a very cute little place. We did have 4 people in ours, 2 adults and 2, 16 year old girls. It was a little cramped but we made it work fine. The location was perfect! Waking up everyday to have coffee on the beach was just what we needed. The area is safe enough that we felt comfortable letting our teenage daughters go off and explore on their own. The kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed to make our stay feel like we were still at home.

Beautiful location on Sugar beach, walk off your back patio and you are on the beach! Nice amenities, close to town and night life. Great facilities but you cannot get extra towels and will have to wash those provided. Otherwise, great little vacation spot!

Kehei Sands is the best. A 11 was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The coffee in the morning and the outside area was wonderful. The open house we went to and dreamed about was wonderful. The proximity to the ocean was wonderful, and we recommend the restaurant Miso Phat for sushi eaters!!

Before staying at Kihei Sands we had stayed in the Kaanapali Resort six or seven times. We would never stay anywhere other than Kihei Sands because the facilities are well maintained the service superb and it just feels like your home in the tropics. Kihei Sands is a great value in many respects. It is closer to the airport, shopping and dining that the Kaanapali Resort area. The vibe is so much more relaxed in the Kihei area.

Our stay at Kihei Sands couldn't have been better! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Right on the beach, clean pool, and beautiful well kept grounds. The inside of the condo was perfect. I would be content living there! Oh yes, the lanai was my spot for morning coffee, evening wine and a good book. I can't say enough good for the Kihei Sands Condos. I would recommend them to everyone! You won't be disappointed!

My stay was great, with the exception of the last day. We got caught in the "Kona low" storm that hit Kihei. It was an experience like no other! I will say that Patrick (who works for Kihei Sands) was FANTASTIC. Throughout my stay, if I had any problems or questions, he was available. During the storm, he made sure that all guests were OK, and he stayed through the entire night to help those (like me) whose units flooded during the storm. He deserves a huge amount of praise!

We had an amazing time at Kihei Sands A11. The condo was in great shape, in a beautiful place, right off the beach. We had choices for where we wanted to watch the sunset every evening: from our dining table, from the table on the lanai, from the loungers on the communal patio, or from the beach itself. It was amazing. And in the mornings, we just left our towels on the lanai and walked into the ocean for a swim.

We were also walking distance to shave ice, a fresh fruit market, and the ABC store where we got several of our gifts and souvenirs.

The only drawback we had was that there were a few ants anytime we left food out--if we cleaned up well we didn't see them.

Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend the Kihei Sands and condo A11.

This condo was more than amazing! The location was perfect and just feet from the beach for all the rooms. The pool and barbecue were a perfect asset for spending as much time in the beautiful Hawaii weather. The rooms were clean and nice temperature and filled with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and storage closet. The managers on site were there at every need and let you know good places to see and try and were always willing to help. I would definitely come back to this condo if I come back fo beautiful Maui and would recommend it to anyone visiting. The only downside was the bed was a bit uncomfortable and hard but other than that it was spectacular!!!

We stayed in A11 which was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking in. Great location - just a short walk on the beach to the Sugar Beach Bakery for morning malasadas and to Ululani's in the afternoon for shave ice. There is also an ABC if you need anything. Also just a little way further on the Kihei Beach road, on Wednesday and Saturday you can buy delicious huli huli chicken and rib take away plates. The office people were friendly and helpful

This was our 2nd time to stay at Kihei Sands. Every step of the rental process was professional and very organized. Great location! I would suggest, if you have a late flight go ahead and rent the condo for the extra day at the time of the rental. It will help. Checking out at 100 a.m. and flight at 7p.m. was tough. I will plan better next time now that I know! Already planning our next visit!

We have visited this location twice now, the owners and renters have all been amazing. The condo is centrally location which makes it great for exploration. The beach is quiet and relaxing. The only downside is restaurants are too far to walk to with the exception of Dina’s.
If you are looking to relax meet great people, this is the place for you!

We arrived at Kihei Sands Sunday afternoon. The office was closed. I found an email giving us the room number and the passcode. The passcode didn't work. Within an hour a man helped us get into our condo with the master code. When we entered I found a piece of paper with the correct passcode. Monday morning I told Connie what happened. She made no response. That surprised me because I would have apologized. The condo was great with flowers and a pineapple waiting for us. If we come to Maui next year we will definitely return to Kihei Sands.

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Maui and stayed at Kehei Sands for 2 days. This is a perfect setup for those who want to be on the beach, but don't want to stay at a mega-resort. The location is great, easy to get to anywhere on the island. The beach is beautiful and accessible with calm water and gorgeous sunsets along with a view of Molokini and Lanai. The complex is small with easy parking. It is quiet in the evenings, and the public area is clean and well set up. A 11 was comfortable and nicely decorated with an updated kitchen. We would have been happy to stay longer at this lovely vacation, but it was a short trip and Hana beckoned. The hospitality of the management was appreciated, including the welcome pineapple and a gentle reminder that checkout was the next day in the form of a note and a bag of saltwater taffy. I have 4 suggestions for the unit; none of them expensive or a dealbreaker for staying there, just things that would improve the experience: Blackout shades or shutters for the bedroom (outside hall lights on all night shine into the room), a folding towel rack for drying bathing suits and towels inside, some nice acrylic cups (glass wisely not allowed on lanai or deck) and some sharp knives for kitchen prep. My Husband and I had a wonderful experience and were extremely satisfied with our stay at Kihei Sands. The on site staff Sue & Hamid were so lovely and really made us feel welcome. The condo was beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous, you really can not get closer the water and amazing sunrise / sunsets then this location. The property is very well maintained and we were happy to find so much equipment for us to use on site. It was the first time we had both used a boogie boards in years and everything you really need is provided in your unit or on the grounds.The other regular guests really made us feel welcome and we can not wait to go back next year!!

Kihei Sands twice now and would stay forever if we could! The setting is amazing. Steps to the waves. The sense of your own private beach. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, bakery, convenience store. A central location to all of Maui for exploring. Wonderful community BBQ and beachfront patio that well accommodated all the guests. Even with our beachfront units, the evenings were quiet and relaxing. We are already planning our next family gathering!

We have stayed here in the past and if you have never been to Maui, this is the place. The location is great, middle of the island on a beach that is not crowded.
The rooms have been redone since we last stayed and are in great shape. Never have had an problems. The have a couple of events a week, small get together on the patio, but just laid back and the staff is helpful in all respects.
We will return....

Staying at Kihei Sands was amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate us! Upon check in, we had the most beautiful fresh flowers in our room and a local pineapple, which I thought was a perfect touch! Our unit was extremely clean, and loaded with everything we needed! We were 10 steps to the beach, which was one of the major reasons we booked here. We loved it at Kihei Sands and we hope to be back again and again!

Perfect, we were but a few steps from the Ocean and Pool.
We were entertained by the staff, the rooms were clean. We enjoyed the atmosphere at Kihei Sands.

Had a great time swimming in the ocean, golfing and attending a luau, couldn't have been better at Kihei Sands, every thing is so close and available.

The room felt large and homey, we loved eating meals on the patio with the ocean view and sounds of the waves crashing.

I stayed at Kihei Sands about 20 years ago and knew when I went back to Maui that is where I would stay again. Kihei Sands is a wonderfully small community on a beautiful beach. You feel as though it is your own private oasis. Our condo had just been updated and was beautiful. I highly recommend staying here. It is centrally located on Maui and is a bit more low key and relaxing in my opinion. It is only a short car ride to anywhere on the island!

An almost private beach of truly "sugar" sand. The whales entertaining for 5 hours on Christmas day. Spectacular sunsets. Units (we had three) that were all beautifully maintained and appointed. Thought given to the large and small things by Cheri and Jonathan -- Christmas potluck, quick response to questions/needs, decadent homemade candy. A place that was perfect from the perspective of all three generations. Walking distance or a short drive to a wide range of activities and excellent restaurants. Frankly, we enjoyed it so much we spent most of our time as a family at the Sands and our rental car sat in the lot. We have already booked again.

Kihei Sands was just what we'd hoped - a perfect place for a winter getaway. It was just as advertised - a small, quiet condo with direct access to a safe, sandy beach where one could relax, swim, walk.. The managers were friendly and competent; the condo we rented was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed -- a well-equipped kitchen, internet and tv, comfortable bed, cool ocean breezes, ceiling fans and air-conditioning when we needed it; beach accessories such as beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, picnic cooler, air mattresses were an added bonus! . We had beautiful sunsets every evening, quiet breakfasts and respectful fellow guests. An organized evening appie gathering was fun and tasty! ! The area in north Kihei was also quieter and less posh than further south but just right for us! Nearby shopping was very convenient -- a farmers' market and bakery were wonderful supplying us with fresh pineapples, papayas and warm banana bread every day! It was just a short drive to south Kihei for grocery stores, restaurants and snorkelling beaches, as well as being convenient to the highway connecting to Lahaina, Kahalui and other northern beaches. We loved it and will come back!
