Condo B8 - Oceanfront

We had a wonderful spring break living in this condo. The resort is very well situated for long walks on the beach. The accommodations were very comfortable for our group of 4 adults.

We really enjoyed our first time to Hawaii. The location in N Kihei allowed us to easily travel to other parts of the island. The condo was a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee on the deck while watching the area come to life for the day. A perfect place for taking walks on the beach or sunning yourself at the pool. Many restaurants within a short drive. Only had one interaction with the onsite management company and was easily booked online. Would stay here again!

Nice condo with a great view. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The couch is very old and worn out. It is not comfortable to sit on and the pillows are very dirty. The location is great and the property is clean and well kept. I have stayed at the location twice and would recommend it to anyone.

The unit was perfect and the amenities were just what we needed. The property is perfect for two couples traveling together. The end unit views of the ocean at any time of day was worth the extra cost, waking up in the morning looking out the bedroom windows to palm trees and beach/ocean is the very reason we came to visit Maui. Building is well maintained and really enjoyed the common beach front outdoor area w/pool. A real hidden gem amongst high rise condos. Love the more cozy/homey feel of the two story building. We would love to escape the Alaska cold and stay again.

Our stay was fantastic. The condo is located in Kihei which is convenient to most areas on the island. It’s sits right on Sugar Beach which is beautiful but not a high traffic beach and the beach/ocean are mere steps from the property. Located on the north end of Kihei there are a number of restaurants and shops within a 10-15 minute drive. The unit has AC which is nice when the temps and humidity start to rise. There are communal grills in the courtyard and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and spices. Definitely check the kitchen before buying a bunch of stuff at the grocery store as it was more stocked than we anticipated. There were beach chairs and a cooler in the unit for us to use as well as shared pool noodles and boogie boards under the stairs. The water was calm in the mornings but the trade winds would pick up between noon and 4-5pm and the ocean could get a bit rough. After about 5pm it would start to calm down again. Swimming/lounging in the ocean was wonderful, but the good snorkeling spots in the southern area are roughly 15-20 minutes away. The office staff were very pleasant, though the only time we really needed to interact with them is when our fish was delivered (fresh fish Maui) and when we returned the parking pass. Overall we highly recommend Kihei Sands and would definitely return to this property.

We rented B5 and B8 for our family of 8. We came to celebrate our 70th birthday with our children and grandchildren. It was a perfect spot and we had so much fun being neighbors! The beach was great, it was whale watching season which was a bonus. The accommodations were clean with all the conveniences of home. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for an extra cot and were given a nice queen size blow up bed to use. We had a problem with one of the washing machines and Patrick in the office fixed the problem right away. All in all, we highly recommend Kihei Sands and would love to come back sometime.

We brought my family of 5. The contract stated and room stated that it fits 5. I even emailed the list of our family names weeks before arriving. When I arrived to check in I was not welcomed and asked why I brought 5 people to stay in a 4 person place. She was giving me an attitude. I showed her my contract and stated it was an online mistake and that my family should not be staying here. She said she will "allow" my family to stay with them as an exception. I did not feel comfortable and welcomed considering it was their mistake. Besides that awkwardness, thr place was amazing! Great coffee every morning, the place was well kept, and the beach was so peaceful. I would definitely stay again!

First time to Hawaii and it did not disappoint. We spent most days seeking out a new beach and snorkeling areas. We had incredible weather and enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine. The Kihei Sands was great. We bbq'd a few nights and enjoyed restaurants on the others.

We had a terrific experience at Kehei Sands. Due to c change in condo plan, we moved from our originally assigned condo (A10 ) to the neighboring condo (A11) when we arrived. We were planning on staying in one condo for 7 nights, however due to needed repairs, and late arrival, we contacted a busy contractor working to rehab A10 who led us to A11. All was well, however we interrupted it's scheduled rental, and needed to relocate to B8, a wonderful substitution. Great view and location, of the beach and adjacent staircase to ground level. Our airline cancelled our trip home, and found us seats on a red-eye the night previous our original flight home, so we opted for that due to no alternative. I hated to leave due to the comfort and convenience of our rental. Next time!! Thank you Kehei Sands and condo owners and staff!!

We cannot say enough about Kihei Sands and our time there. From the time we made the reservations, they were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and filled with everything we needed for the duration of the trip including the kitchen (for those who prefer to cook meals each day it is not an issue). It felt like we had our very own private beach! The views do not get any better. Kihei Hands is directly on sugar beach - a gorgeous quiet beach that we swam and played in each day. The thought and personal touches puts Kihei Hands above the rest. Its a smaller quiet place (compared to resort-style complexes) with friendly faces to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Loved the free morning coffee station set up on the patio!! A nice touch.
The grounds are immaculate and cared for each day including the pool, which we ended uo never even going in once because the ocean was right there :)
We love the Location. A quick 5-6 minute walk (on the beach!!) to the ABC store and bakery was so
Convenient. U definitely will need a rental car if u wish to go anywhere else.

Our week on Maui at Kihei Sands was magnificent! This was my third time at these condos, but the first with our whole family. We had 17 people in 4 units (ages 4-64) and it couldn't have been better. All the units were well maintained and Connie and Patrick went out of their way to accommodate our needs. This is our favorite beach in south Maui: uncrowded, gentle surf, minimal coral/rocks, and awesome views! We had a blast with the boogie boards and in the pool. And the fresh coffee each morning on the patio by the waves is the perfect way to begin each day! The location on the island was ideal for us. We didn't need to deal with Kihei traffic when returning from adventures, but could also walk to shopping and shave ice. The proximity to the water can't be beat. We can't wait to go back!

This location was truly the best! This was our first time staying in Maui and I am so thankful I found this location!!! It was located perfectly in the middle of the lower part of the island. I loved the small town local shops feel of Kihei. This location does require a car or you will have to Uber to grocery stores and shops. There is a wonderful bakery, ABC store (convenience store) and farmers market walking distance. Downtown Kihei is great back not walkable. This place was super clean, right next to the laundry machines, and great shared patio. It has everything you need for the beach even sunscreen!! Super convenient. YOU CAN HEAR THE WAVES when you sleep it’s AMAZING!!!!

We were referred to Kihei Sands by friends and it was not a disappointment. We had a total of three condos each one a little different but they were great for what each one of us needed. The condos were clean fully stocked with anything we would need to cook. Extra towels beach towels even in the closet there was some water toys. We ended up buying some bodyboard and left them in the condo for others to use when they come. Great location , Quiet, great staff willing to help you with anything that you need. Will definitely be coming back to this location

Condo is in a fantastic location, we had a great 2 week stay. Much needed after 2020. This was our 2nd visit to these condos. Stayed in 8b.Love love the view from the balcony. The beds both in the upstairs and downstairs were very comfortable. Both bathrooms were updated.Condo was clean except for the throw rug under the kitchen table. Kitchen appliances showed signs of age but very functional.
Management staff was friendly and welcoming. Patrick was extremely helpful and quick with the few repairs needed. We will definitely be back again next year.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Maui! Very kind managers, accommodating to children, access to the beach (our favorite part) and the pool, and just an extremely friendly atmosphere overall. We fell asleep to crashing waves, and woke up with a warm walk along the beach during sunrise. The staff made us feel right at home, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing time in paradise.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kihei Sands. We were fortunate enough to get an end unit overlooking the beach from our Lanai. The condo was nice and furnished to our liking. They had many amenities that we could take advantage of, barbecues, boogie boards, sand chairs. They also had beach toys for younger children as well. Location to the beach was probably the biggest Plus. Sugar beach is beautiful. I would recommend to stay here most definitely. Kihei itself is an excellent base location to explore the island. We also liked that the door had a keypad entry, so we did not have to bring a key every time we left. Mahalo for a great vacation rental.

What a great location! The beach is great for swimming and long walks. The condo is centrally located to reach and explore all of the island.
Many extras available for use on the beach; boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Will definitely stay here next visit to Maui!

My fiance (at the time) decided to elope in Maui...instead of the BIG wedding. We opted to fly our closet immediate family in and provide lodging for them; Kihei Sands was our choice! Everyone was so happy with each of their rooms. Everything was clean, worked well, was perfect location to get around the island, the beach was amazing! We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in unit B8 in early May 2019. Connie was very helpful with all of my questions and overall we had a really nice stay. B8 is a wonderful location, every window has direct views of the ocean. Literally you see the full ocean from the bedrooms and the patio. The condo itself is small (less than 800 sq ft) but it worked for our family of 5. The bedrooms were a good size and the kitchen was fully stocked. Neither bathroom had a tub so the photo posted isn’t accurate. My girls (5& 2) enjoyed the small pool and the beach. They provide a lot of sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and noodles for everyone to use. I didn’t see many kids staying here, it’s mostly adults. We didn’t use the grill but we saw lots of people using it daily. People didn’t hang out by the pool area at night during our stay so it was quiet and you could only hear the ocean waves. They don’t provide shampoo/body wash but do have sunscreen and aloe vera. I think a sectional would make the living area more comfortable and new kitchen chairs (they were sticky). The kitchen cabinets need a good scrub down (also sticky) but besides that we had a great time. I think this is a nice rental for families!

I wanted to celebrate my 70th birthday by taking my son and daughter and grandkids to a place I knew they’d love! I had stayed here 5 years ago and knew this was the place. I rented this condo with patio access to the pool as well as the one directly above it... I knew the views plus the convenient pool access would make this the perfect spot. And it was! We enjoyed the ever changing scenery from sunrises to sunsets , the kids had so much fun in the pool and made many friends. A perfect place for all ages. Access to beach umbrellas, coolers, beach toys and chairs was so appreciated! We were able to take them on our adventures snorkelling and swimming at nearby beaches as well as hiking and exploring! So thoughtful! Also, the fact that it was not a huge resort, the evenings were quiet and the sound of the ocean waves very restful for sleep. Can hardly wait to come again!

My family and I chose to stay at this condo because my parents had stayed at the same one over 30 years ago. It was amazing. The view from the deck is perfect. We watched whales breaching off short one morning. We loved the boogie boards and floating noodles that were available to use. Coffee was ready with all the fixings by the pool early every morning. It was a great start to each day. Patrick was so helpful and friendly! It was so nice to have a kitchen so close. We enjoyed blending up fresh pina coladas with ingredients from the market just down the street. We will be back as soon as we can! I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to get away from a huge resort setting but still having all the luxury. Our entire process from booking, checking in, and the many questions before hand, was an easy stress free experience. Thank you for a wonderful family Christmas vacation!

If your planning on staying in Maui this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed in B8 we woke up every morning facing the ocean and had our meals when the sunset was happening. We were there for our daughter's wedding and we all booked here, it was a bonus that after so many condos were booked in your party everyone received a discount! This condo is right on the beach no crossing the road to get there. The guests with kids found it so easy everything was close at hand. In the morning the condo workers would have a big pot of coffee on and everyone would come down have their morning coffee and talk about what they were all doing that day. In the evening they had 2 large bar-b-que that everyone could use to cook their meal. Some of the guests just cooked their meat then ate in the condo and some ate their meals on the tables provided. It was close to main roads for going to airport and other places. Can't say enough positive about the staff they were very accommodating and helping out whenever needed, good support! I particularly liked the small complex a more personal appeal, great for a family gathering. Our family just loved the convenience of going back to get what you needed from the condo without spending a lot of travel time. The family went out snorkleing in front of the condo and saw a variety of fish, turtles. I can't say enough about this just loved it and plan on going back the only thing is I'll stay longer!!

The condo was wonderful. One full bedroom and a loft bedroom. Two full bathrooms. Three AC units, ceiling fans everywhere that kept us very cool. The afternoon sun does get hot. The view is outstanding, pool and ocean front. We had many friends and family staying at the same location, which makes it even nicer. Most of the owners where there for part of our stay. It was wonderful to talk to them and how concerned they all were about everything being perfect for us. The complex is small, which is one of the best things about it. You are close to everything, shopping, dining, day trips and water activities, such beautiful water. A turtle even came to great us at Mama's Fish House Restaurant.
The ocean side pool is small but very inviting. The patio area with grills and even pupu's at dusk for sharing and meet and greet was wonderful. You always had someone nice to talk to.
We have stayed different places on Maui, but this by far is the best. This is why we return here whenever we get the chance. Hope to see you again next year. Aloha

It was a great place for our family with two teenagers and a one and two year old. We were in B8 and our one year old loved looking out at the pool and beach when she wasn't out playing. The unit was well kept but definitely needed updated dinnerware and kitchen tools. We either had mugs or very large glasses to use for our meals. The pans were old and there wasn't a griddle or electric skillet for pancakes/French toast. I ended up making pancakes on two burners in two small pans. The grill was great and I used it twice. Well kept and worked well. The loft was nice but noise carries down. Having said all this, I would stay there again because of the location and friendly atmosphere. The unit has only showers so it was hard with my one and two year olds. The laundry was right outside the door so very convenient. Staff was great and very helpful.

We had a really good time here. The greatest challenge with the property was the bedroom in the loft. The condo was small and sound traveled into the loft area and it was hard to keep quiet in order for our teens to stay asleep. Making coffee and going onto the deck meant sound traveled into their area. But, the location was perfect! There were LOTS of cool things to do and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The complex is clean and the management team provide opportunities to connect with other families.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the condo! We stayed in B8, second floor on the right, on the beach. Great views, clean, nice setup. We had 3 - our 14 year old son loved the loft space with his own bathroom. Nice lanai to sit on and watch the Kihei Paddling club early in the mornings. We had everything we needed. Space was clean and well appointed. We didn't want to stay in a high rise and this was perfect. Beautiful beach right out the door, space to layout, read a book and sun. We didn't use the grill space, but there were always families out there fixing dinner. Very polite managers who came to the S'mores night. It wasn't the cheapest place in this area, but you definitely get what you pay for. We liked the location just north of Kihei city, South of the crazy Lahaina touristy area with great access to all the attractions. Very, very pleased with this choice of accommodation!

This was a wonderful place to stay during our visit! The condo and property were very well kept, you can tell that the operators cared, the beach outside was basically a private beach, very little use especially in the evening! We will absolutely be back to Kihei Sands!

My family of 4 stayed at Kihei Sands condo B08 for a week at the end of July. We were thrilled with the view from our lanai and Sugar Beach access. The condo is steps away from the beach and has everything you need. There were even boogie boards for us to use in the ocean! The condo is on the quiet end of Kihei and centrally located with easy access to anywhere on the island. It can get a little windy in the afternoon, but we didn't mind. Karrie, Sue & Mike are great hosts, ready to help with anything you need be it getting the top off your jeep rental or recommending a good place for pizza. If we ever go back to Maui, this is where we will stay again. Small & homey feel you don't get in a resort. We felt like we had our own private getaway.

Loved oceanfront view! Downstairs bedroom stifling hot w no air conditioning. Had to buy new broom and mop.they were filthy. Beds comfy. Kitchen needs upgrading. Fan didn't work.

We loved our unit. Had everything we needed. Cant wait to come back!

"Heaven is closer when your house is by the thoughts exactly when I stayed here in Condo B8, the 2nd floor unit overlooking Sugar Beach @ Kihei Sands. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, & responded promptly to our needs. The unit was just the right size for our family of 3. Well equipped kitchen, clean, & high ceilings. Nice touches like a pineapple & a vase of fresh flowers waited for us on our dining table the first day we walked in. Great location, too. All the good restaurants & beaches were only 30 min or less away. The only thing I would replace are the tables & chairs in the lanai which got rusty from all that sea air. This truly was our wonderful home away from home in the land of hula & rainbows. I highly recommend it.

The Condo was simply amazing! Just feet from the beach, and miles of sand in either direction. My wife and I had just stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for the first half of our vacation, and it was nice but it was down the elavator, thru the lobby, pass the pool and over the walkway before you got to the ocean.

Kihei Sands keeps calling us back year after year. This little gem on the beach is so special to us that we almost hate to let the "secret out of the bag." On site Managers- Jonathan and Cheri go the extra mile to make sure that all of their guests feel welcome from the flowers and pineapple waiting in the condo on your arrival to the fun Tuesday beach fires and Thursday Potluck "Pu Pu".

We recently stayed in unit B8 at the Kihei Sands and I cannot say enough about our unforgettable experience. From the moment we made the reservation to our pre-arrival experience, our stay in the condo and our rather reluctant departure, every aspect of her stay was flawless.
Cheri and Jonathan were wonderful hosts. They were attentive but not intrusive, went out of their way to ensure all of the guests were well taken care of, and kept the property looking immaculate. They kept us up to date during her stay with emails regarding upcoming activities in the common area, and hosted the most memorable New Year's eve on the patio - including fireworks!!
We were traveling with our adult children and the unit was perfect for our needs. The location is central and ideal and the beach is spectacular. We have always stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani however our memorable stay and "condo experience" at Kihei Sands has won us over. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

As usual we come exhausted and weary and go home refreshed and tanned..We are beginning to wish we could come more often and likely will do just that.Our hosts meet our every need joyfully..Our room B8 had some upgrades that I truly appreciated...Kihei sands is a small safe environment for our grandchildren and their parents truly relax also..Thanks again

I can't say enough about what a great experience we had. The property is located in a very secluded part of North Kihei, very easy to get to, and easy to go and access other parts of the island. The condo is literally right on the beach, so each morning we were steps away from taking long morning walks along an incredible stretch of beach that was very private. Super soft sand and swimmable beach! Perfection! Our condo had a spectacular view of the ocean and was well equipped with everything that we needed. The property managers are fabulous and extremely helpful and welcoming. Everything went above and beyond our expectations and I look forward to going back to this exact location again and again!
