This was a wonderful stay for us! Beautiful condo beach front it was an amazing view! Very clean property and well maintained pool on site was very clean. Management on site Connie was so very helpful to us and answered ALL of our questions and they are on site most of the day even give you their personal phone numbers if there is an emergency after hours so that was a great feeling to have someone always there to help! Our most fun moment would have to be the Calypso snorkel tour it was amazing and if you go you have to do it! Lava Rock was our favorite restaurant we ate there 3 times and it's only 10 mins away from the condo- best food and atmosphere ever! I highly recommend this condo recently updated and very clean!

Overall the place was immaculate and the staff was exceptional. Location was on point.
A little alarmed by the final breakdown of charges. Booked at $350/night and I realized cleaning/taxes/resort fees would be added, but it came out to $620/night when all said and done!

We were only here for 2 nights but wish it could have been longer. Great location to be able to explore both sides of the island. Loved how close it was to the beach. We found the staff very helpful with recommendations and was very grateful for the late checkout option. Would stay again.

Kihei Sands is such a wonderful place. Felt like home, and is on the absolutely indescribable Sugar Beach. This was our second time at Kihei Sands, and this time we were in Bente and Melvin's absolutely perfect condo A9. The condo was adorable and comfortable, and the oceanfront patio was breathtaking. 10 steps to the beach. Such beauty. We also experienced great service. We had the time of our lives! I highly recommend Kihei Sands, and we will definitely return when we can get back to Maui!

We recently stayed in unit A-9 for 5 days - the unit was recently upgraded and well appointed with all new decor. the unit is ocean front and enjoyed being close to the Ocean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating . Would stay here in the future!

This was our firt time back to Kihei Sands since the pandemic kept us away. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything about our stay this year. The unit is absolutely beautiful with all new furniture, flooring, painting, you name it. When we opened the door to the unit, it was so impressive we thought we were in the wrong unit! We have been coming to Kihei Sands now for nearly 40 years and will be coming back again and again as long as we can. Connie, Patrick, Lisa and all the team there are outstanding. The only issue we had was with the new Roku TV and no instructions. Thanks to the owners and everyone on site for all you continue to do to make sure our stays are perfect.

We have stayed at Kihei Sands for almost 30 years. This was the first time in a first floor unit. Loved the big lanai, and was perfect for my 89 year old mom who needed first floor access. The unit was nice, although a bit understocked. We’ve stayed in other units that had more amenities, like coffee filters, towel clips, etc. Minor things, tbh, but providing coffee and a coffee maker with no filters was frustrating. Fortunately had the lovely coffee on the patio every morning. We love Kihei Sands and will always stay here when traveling to Maui. This was a lovely unit and can’t be beat for beach, patio and pool access.

The oceanfront unit was clean and well-appointed. The management company does an excellent job of maintaining the property and communicating with customers. We rented 4 units for a family retreat and so enjoyed our grandchildren experiencing the ocean and pool and all it’s pleasures. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff (Connie) so helpful. Condo is stocked well but wish it had a Keurig also. Convenient area to most anything on island. Loved Nalu’s restaurant. Would definately book again.

We searched for a small condo complex right on the breath and found it at Kihei Sands! Our unit was just right, the complex is low-key and quiet and the staff worked very hard to keep us and everyone else happy. Would def stay there again. The location is easy access to all area of the island and the staff is happy to offer recommendations for wherever you are headed.

A9 was a great unit for my wife and I. Heard the ocean every-night. Very clean and had all the basic amenities anyone could ask for. Pat and Connie the property managers were great. The beach/ocean just feet away for long walks in either direction was spectacular. Water is clean and warm. Central to just about anything one may need. Thanks for a great stay and look forward to coming back.

This was our second time staying at the Kihei Sands and it did not disappoint! We had one of the ocean front units and it was wonderful waking up and drinking coffee right next to the beach. The condo was comfortable (AC!) and worked perfectly for myself, my husband and our toddler. They had lots of sand toys and pool floats and we enjoyed using the communal BBQ as well. Would highly recommend!

This was our 10th year in a row staying at Kihei Sands. We stayed for nearly six weeks and the time flew by. The weather this year was fantastic. Kihei Sands has made a great effort to offer a clean and safe environment during the pandemic and we felt totally comfortable during our stay. The property management team of Connie, Lisa and Patrick does a wonderful job and they were attentive and responsive to any need that we had. We are already looking forward to returning for our next stay in January 2022.

We loved staying at Kihei Sands. We stayed in Unit A9. The unit was very clean and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had front row seats to the beach. The beach, sand, and sunsets were beautiful. I also wanted to thank the property management. They were great to work with.

This is the only place I stay in Maui. My parents came here 28 years in a row starting when it first opened so my family has a long history here. In terms of A9 my only complaint would be that the couch was the same as 6 years ago which would be ok except there were stains on it as well as the front of it covered in a reddish coating of probably sunscreen oil mixed with the colour from outside. It made it look shabby. I also noticed my sliding door and front windows being cleaned the day I left which had not been done for me when I came in and it was something I noticed and was disappointed about (although I didn't say anything.) Just little things but one day there was no coffee until about 10 o'clock and for several days there was no sugar to go with it. Considering the expense to stay there I was surprised that certain staples weren't automatically there. For example Saran Wrap and tin foil, sugar cubes, windex, vim, only 4 pucks for the dishwasher for 16 days. Little things that just started to add up. My comments aren't meant to be whiney rather constructive comments.
But I love Kihei Sands and will come back.I know exactly what kind of a holiday I will be having and it never disappoints. The older fellow (roughly my age )who was on during the weekends was just great.

it is always amazing to me that I can walk out the front onto the beach, turn right and after 2 buildings only have the ocean on one side and the bird sanctuary on the other... and can walk for over an hour with hardly seeing anyone else other than those who are also loving being surrounded by nature ... and I love that Kihei Sands is low key and very friendly and that it is at the north end of Kihei, the quiet end! easy drive to shopping, restaurants, etc... I'll be back for sure!

My husband and I were trying to count how many times we have stayed here. We think it is 6 times whether with larger family and friend groups or just the two of us. It really is great for family, friends or couples. We love the smaller size of the complex which makes it less populated and way more relaxed than other places we have stayed. However, the biggest plus of the Kihei Sands is the proximity to the beach. You simply cannot get any closer to the beach. Great for morning and evening walks, swimming and the views at sunrise and sunset are simple stunning!

The only issue we had this time was cleanliness of our particular unit. Our unit was not as clean as past visits. However, I will admit my standard are pretty darn high. I spent a little bit (maybe 30 mins) of time wiping a few things down and also vacuumed and mopped.

The property overall is very well maintained, aesthetically pleasing and very clean. The unit cleanliness has not been an issue in the past so I hope it was just a little miss.

Kihei sands was a great located literally steps from the beach. The rooms was clean and ready upon arrival. Staff (Connie and Patrick)were all super friendly and helpful, and happy to accommodate any needs that arose.
One thing being a first timer to Maui is I didn’t realize how far Kihei was to the Lahaina side. However Kihei had a nice small town feel.

This was our 6th time at Kihei Sands and our first time in A9. It is the best one and will be our preferred condo for future visits. Immaculate, quiet,pretty, comfortable, "home". So much Aloha spirit. We enjoyed our Maui coffee each morning on the patio. We grilled 2 nights and missed the BBQ tongs. The condo had everything else we needed or wanted. We appreciated the comfy bed, linens, beach towels and well stocked kitchen. The door lock was easy to change and it was so nice to head to the beach without a key. We walked the beach, in each direction, every day. We walked to the local bakery one morning and then to the best shaved ice one afternoon. Two car trips to Safeway for drinks, grilling meats, sandwiches, salad and fried chicken. We had Shaka pizza delivered one night. Aloha!

We absolutely loved our condo and patio area by the beach. Every morning we had coffee watching the canoers, walking the beach and enjoying the sound of the waves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The patio and common grounds can be as private or interactive as you like, we chatted with other guests and owners. The sunsets on our own "reserved" little spot were beautiful. We hope to come back to the same unit, A9, again.

This was our first time here but we were told about it from our neighbors. From the second we got there till the time we lleft it was fabulous. We had a lower floor ocean front and we loved the view the waves and the condo was great. We checked in with Connie and she really helped us out a lot because it was our first trip to Maui. She gave us a garmen the first day and always helped out with food places and places to see and go. She was always smiling and positive. What is nice was that you are centrally located so you can get to everything easy. This place is quaint and perfect for families or couples. There were no rowdy guests and we met some wonderfull folks including some owners. My wife and I would highly recommend this resort- condos.

Our stay at Kihei Sands was perfect!.The ocean front room (A9) was worth the price and let you experience ocean front living steps from the Pacific.We enjoyed many spectacular Maui sunsets from our lanai while soaking up the beautiful 80 or so temps. This was the best beach sand i have ever seen. You could walk barefoot for miles and enjoy the scenery of whales breaching ,dolphins playing and beautiful warm ocean breezes.Our condo was small yet had all the required amenities for doing your own cooking,BBQ'ing or just venturing out onto your private patio.The staff was more than happy to help with with anything you needed and coffee was on the lanai every morning bright and early. They also supplied us with fresh cut flowers and a delicious Pineapple upon arrival.I would recommend the Kihei Sands Condos to future travellers also because it was clean,well kept
and well run.

My husband and I stayed in A9 for our honeymoon and had the best time. The condo complex itself is small, quiet and clean. Everyone staying in the complex was friendly and there were potluck's and other get together's a few evenings on the patio where we met other guests. Our condo walked right out onto the beach which we loved! The beach grounds are beautiful and the pool is nice as well. The complex has two laundry facilities which we found very convenient as well. The condo complex is located in Kihei, which is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. We saw essentially the entire island, all because everything was within close proximity to where we stayed. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return!

The Kihei Sands condo we rented, A9, exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with everything we needed for a great and comfortable stay. The unit is on the groundlevel, with beautiful views of the ocean, and you are just steps away from the beach. The condos even provide floaties, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment! They have coffee on the patio every morning and have evening get togethers, like sitting around a fire and cooking s'mores! Sue, Mike and Karrie, the condo managers are really nice and helpful. This was our first time to Maui and we feel we picked the perfect place to stay. We can't wait to return!

My entire wedding party stayed at Kihei Sands recently. I love this place!! It was in a convenient location on the island, a lot of great food choices and Maui Brewing just down the road. The condo we stayed was very clean, had most everything we needed. I saw most units, they were all very nice. The patio is fantastic, grills to use at any time, lit up nicely at night. The beach is quiet all day, very relaxing to lay out or enjoy the water. Great beach to walk at night. My only negative comment is this: A resident of the condo's who is also on management, gave me and some guests "the talk" on day 1 - since we were a large group of mostly 30 year olds, they were concerned we would get too loud or party every night. This was not appreciated nor did my group disturb anyone at any point in time. I mean, we were in bed by 8pm most nights... Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely return to Kihei Sands if we ever make it back to Maui, and have already recommended the condo's to a friend.

I would highly recommend this complex for these reasons:
1) It is right on the beach, so you don't haul stuff back and forth
2) Small complex with very friendly vibe
3) Nice lawn lounge area in front of units and BBQs
4) Units just the right size for vacation and not outdated

I rented 3 1 bedroom condo's to celebrate my birthday and an anniversary with my family. I have stayed here before and love Kihei Sands for the wonderful accommodations.
The condos were clean and well equiped, although A12 mattress does need to be replaced. We love that this is a small property right on the beach with a great pool and tables so we can have dinner whole looking at the sunset. I love the location of Kihei because it is in the middle of the island and you can get easily to any area of Maui. Kihei is a nice little town also. There is good snorkeling right off the beach in front of the condos. We went to Lihaina for dinner and for a luau. It is great that it is less than one hour away. We really enjoyed the Maui Aquarium also. I will be back.

We LOVED our stay at Kihei Sands, so much so I flirted with buying one of the units available for sale! I would definitely return. I was safe, quiet, comfy, cozy and centrally located.

This ground floor condo was the perfect location for stepping out the door and being on beautiful grass or on the beach. The unit had everything we could need and was comfortable and was even equipped with some great beach chairs and other guests had left some extra sunscreen that we needed. It really did feel like home to us for the week. We would stay there again.

We had a first floor condo, literally feet from the ocean.The kitchen was well stocked, the towels thick and fluffy. We had binoculars and beach chairs and all kinds of water toys. It was perfect!

Everything about this property is great!! The location is right on Sugar Beach and you can walk for miles on very soft sand. There are only 30 condos, so it is possible to get to know a lot of other guests. The property managers (Jonathan, Cheri and Karrie) are really outgoing and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. We have returned five years in a row and are booked for 2 more. We highly recommend Kihei Sands.

We always enjoy our stay at Kihei Sands. The new managers are great and very accommadating. Like being so close to the beach.

We had a great stay. I think we had the best condo as we were the one right on the ocean front. It was great to have the BBQ area right on the ocean side as well.

We have been coming to Maui and renting a unit at Kihei Sands now for over 30 years. We rent an ocean front unit either 1 or 2 bedroom depending on whether we have guests with us. We have never been disappointed with the location of Kihei Sands. It is in a quiet North Kihei neighborhood close to all areas of interest and activity with the longest sandy beach in Maui right at our front door. Walks and runs on the beach are typical activities along with everything water related. We love the patio area where lounging, visiting, BBQ-ing, dining and watching their famously beautiful sunsets where you can capture the mythical "green dot" as the sun goes down. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained making you feel like you are in an oasis. Some of the units could benefit from upgrading with more modern and comfortable furniture and better working appliances, TVs, and more electrical outlets for technology. However it doesn't take away from the wonderful feeling you have from staying at Kihei Sands and being lulled asleep every evening with the sounds of the surf. Although the costs to lease the condos have increased over the past several years, they are still quite competitive.

Some of the units could benefit from upgrading with more modern and comfortable furniture and better working appliances, TVs, and more electrical outlets for technology. However it doesn't take away from the wonderful feeling you have from staying at Kihei Sands and being lulled asleep every evening with the sounds of the surf. Although the costs to lease the condos have increased over the past several years, they are still quite competitive.

We have been coming to Maui and renting a unit at Kihei Sands now for over 30 years. We rent an ocean front unit either 1 or 2 bedroom depending on whether we have guests with us. We have never been disappointed with the location of Kihei Sands. It is in a quiet North Kihei neighborhood close to all areas of interest and activity with the longest sandy beach in Maui right at our front door. Walks and runs on the beach are typical activities along with everything water related. We love the patio area where lounging, visiting, BBQ-ing, dining and watching their famously beautiful sunsets where you can capture the mythical "green dot" as the sun goes down. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained making you feel like you are in an oasis. We love the beachfront venue and the spectacular view and the long stretch of beach right at our door step. As the property complex is smaller with approx. 29 units it is conducive to a quiet and informal vacation. Over the years we have had the pleasure of getting to know some of the other quests/owners and they have become our Island friends and we so enjoy seeing them each year.
